Many members of the Historical/Victorian Cats Society enjoy participating in the same types of activities that their Victorian ancestors did. We love to have tea parties with our friends and we leave our calling cards when we visit them. Members are encouraged to display their collections of Victorian art and memorabilia. We may also write essays and book reviews that relate to Victorian times.
In the spring of 2002, many of our members (including myself) participated in a Victorian Cat Show! We welcome visitors to our Victorian Bed & Breakfast, which has a lovely garden with a gazebo. Please join me in my turret and I will give you a guided tour.
We were rewarded for our participation in Victorian Cats Society with points and certificates. As we acquired more points, we attained higher levels. At the time the VCS merged with the Historical Cats Society, I was at the Majestic Level II.
The Victorian Cats Society was a featured CLAW site during the month of June, 2001!
The VCS participated in CLAW's Sizzling Summer Flea Market. Some of our members sold Victorian fans. Silvermyst made this pretty one for me:
These are beautiful certificates that I received for my participation in the Victorian Cats Society through April, 2002.
