This is a really pretty park.  I wonder what else I can find in the grass.  Sandra is not looking right now so I think I will hunt for something to bat around!

If I mess with that little red bug she will be very upset.  Even though this is really my picnic and  not hers, I still don't want her upset with me.

Oh brother!  Look at this big thing!  And his shell is really hard so I won't hurt him unless I bit him . . . I wonder what he tastes like?  Sandra tells me that this big, ugly  thing is a ground beetle and that they are harmless.  He will see how harmless I am!!!  Rowwwww

Now she's telling me to leave this hairy thing alone!  Who wants to touch him anyhow!  She says he is beneficial.  I am not sure what that means . . but ok.

Hee Hee!  Got that one!

Yuck!  Who brought that nasty fly to the picnic!  Shoo!

Yum, the food is delicious, expecially the special mouse dishes!  It is such fun to play with all my friends from Scrappy's forum and really nice to have a chance to get together in person.

Friends are important to us kitties, just as they are to our humans and sometimes we get so busy with doing our mousing and catnapping and chasing noseeems that we forget to just get together to socialize.  I am really glad to meet all of you in person.  See you next year!  Bye from Cleo
